We live in a world that is confusing at best. There are people who deal with struggles every day. For some, they push through it blindly. Others rely on a higher power. Their faith. It gets them through the most trying times. They find more strength than they ever imagined they could find and it often comes when they are struggling the hardest. It is during these times when people often receive the greatest gift of all; seeing Jesus when least expected.
Surviving Trauma
In most cases, you hear about people seeing Jesus when they are fighting for their lives. It can be experienced during a surgical procedure or when the person is in a coma and suddenly wakes up. A car accident, a drug overdose, or other traumatic events in their lives may also trigger a “sighting”. The person who sees Jesus may be told things, such as forgive the one who hurt them, or they may be told that things will be okay if they keep their faith. No two incidents are ever the same, according the way these experiences are explained.
Seeing Jesus
Have you ever heard someone claim that they were able to see Jesus? It happens more often that you may believe, and everyone remembers things a little differently. Their messages are all unique to their situation. For most who have been blessed enough to see him, they say that Jesus appeared to me in a dream, but there are others who feel that the experience was too detailed to be a simple “dream”. He is often described as wearing a white robe with a bright light that seems to come from within Him. Sometimes he may be holding out his hand. He may whisper something to the person seeing him or be silent. Some people see Jesus and Mary at the same time while others see only Mary. In all situations, love is the feeling that those who see Jesus and Mary feel the most. It is a life changing thing for them all.
Are Jesus Sightings Real?
If you look back throughout history, there have always been claims of people seeing Jesus and Mary, angels, and more spiritual beings. These people are of all ages and even different religious backgrounds. Some are filled with faith before they see them, and others are lost souls who need guidance. There are many people who see the spirits after near death experiences and those who suffer from PTSD. There are people that interpret dreams who strive to put meanings on what seeing Jesus means for the dreamer, but what about the people who are not asleep and see something miraculous? There are videos of angels coming out of nowhere to stop a fatal accident from happening. There are times when a person has passed away recently and a photo captures their spirit or the image of an angel. The truth is, it is hard to say if these events are valid or not, but for the person who experiences it; it is 100% real. It is a life changing experience that they will never forget, and many people make drastic changes afterward.
